Hello there, I am Marjory!
I did a career transition and completed a 3-months Full-Time User Xperience Design Immersive (UXDI) course in July ‘2021 from General Assembly.
Prior to the course, I was an in-house graphic designer for 10 years, having worked across a few industries such as Media, Sports and Education where I worked on both online and offline graphics. Online includes graphics for social media channels, e-publicity materials and Google Ad Banners. Offline includes Events’ collaterals (such as Stage Backdrop, Standees and various banners) and print handouts (such as event brochures, flyers, menu/recipe cards). I have also worked as a freelance graphic designer with clients such as beIN Sports (Asia) and Boys’ Town Singapore.
After being a graphic designer for 10 years, I decided it was time to expand on my skillset, as I felt stagnant in my career. Seeing how even more businesses are expanding their services online and the need to remain relevant, I felt it was all the more important to learn and know about UI/UX design. Through learning that, I hope to be able to improve user experiences through designing user interfaces/screen designs.
In my free time, I am a freelance graphic designer and I do some hand drawn type lettering on my iPad. Outside of work, I am a Manchester United supporter. I do some kids’ football coaching, get into some HIIT and strength workout and occasionally do some running.
Some of my services:
Editorial Layout, Photo Manipulation
UI Design (Mobile and Web)
Digital Design (Posters, eDM,
Ad Banners, etc.)
